12 days to elections, Obi says ‘it’s time to decide’

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has advised Nigerians that it is time to decide who to vote for with only 12 days remaining until the election.

In tweets on Monday morning, Obi stated that those who were undecided should act now to select a leader and not waste the opportunity.

The LP candidate stated, “Those of us born after independence must now be given the opportunity to reshape the destiny of this nation,” adding that the “elders” have failed us.

“With 12 days remaining, we are in the final stretch. I have a message for Nigerians, particularly those who are undecided: Time for a decision!

“Every nation experiences significant junctures in its history when a circumstance necessitates that nation to take particular actions that would mark her turning point. Nigeria is at a turning point in history: “How we have performed as a nation is no longer in debate.” We have failed because of poor leadership. Now is the time to seize the moment. Nigeria must be saved immediately or else.

“In twelve days, we will be asked to make very difficult choices. It won’t be about clan or religion; My turn will not be about conventional feelings. It will concern national security.

According to the former governor of Anambra State, Nigeria needs leaders who will take full responsibility for safeguarding the lives and property of its citizens and leading the country toward national rebirth.

We have placed our bets on Nigeria, her future, and our children’s. That has to end. We must reevaluate the lessons we’ve learned and missed opportunities. Now, Nigeria needs a leader with vision and the ability to change things, someone who can lead the country toward national rebirth.
