The United Kingdom Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has appealed to its Presidential Candidate, Muhammadu Buhari to not attend the upcoming Presidential Debate on January 19 2018.
The is appeal is coming a day after the Vice Presidential Debate took place.
Five vice presidential candidates from the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), All Progressives Congress (APC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Young Progressives Party (YPP) debated fiercely Friday night, tabling their ideas and policies for the nation if elected.
In a statement via their twitter page, APC UK wrote;
“Dear Mr @NGRPresident @MBuhari We appeal to you NOT to attend the presidential debate in view of the lecturing witnessed tonight. Please consider a town hall session. Despite the antics @ProfOsinbajo tutored the opposition candidates on nation building. Thank you.”
