SAHARANEWS – Ahead of this year’s general election, the Senator representing Abia South Federal Constituency in the Red Chambers has likened the Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and President Muhammad Buhari as two Pharaohs.
Senator Abaribe made this known at a paid interview on Magic FM aba on Thursday 7th February 2019.
The PDP candidate for Abia South Senatorial District explained that Atiku and Buhari are both Pharaohs to Igbos who are majorly Christians due to their religions.
However, he urged Igbos to vote Atiku for president as he’s the second pharoah in the Bible who had the Israelites at heart by making Joseph a prime minister in his government. He further likened that to Atiku’s decision to adopt Peter Obi as his running mate.
