At least 12 teams have been eliminated from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as of Thursday.
These are:Qatar, Canada, Ecuador, Germany, Costa Rica, Belgium, Iran, Wales, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and Denmark are the other countries represented.
Following their final group matches, Germany, Costa Rica, and Belgium were the subsequent nations eliminated from the tournament.
Despite a thrilling 4-2 victory over Costa Rica, Hansi Flick’s team is out, and Belgium only managed a goalless draw with Croatia.
After Friday’s Group G and Group H matches, four additional nations will be eliminated from the World Cup.
The matches in the Round of 16 will then begin on Saturday.
