2023 election: Northerners won’t vote for Peter Obi – Kwankwaso

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the official competitor of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, has said that the electorate in the North won’t decide in favor of the applicant of the Labor Party (LP), Peter Obi, should the last option become the up-and-comer of the proposed NNPP-LP union for the 2023 general decisions.

Kwankwaso expressed this while including on Sunday Politics, an ongoing undertakings program on Channels Television.

As per the previous Kano State Governor, the northerners will continuously decide in favor of their northern applicant.

When inquired as to whether he was able to be Obi’s running mate, Kwankwaso said, “Everything I am saying to you is that on the off chance that anyone from the South-East now, under this situation, turns into the official applicant of our party or some other party, the ramifications is that in light of the exercises and different issues that are truly on the ground, northern citizens will positively go for their northern competitor and another party.

Talking on the probability of the NNPP-LP collusion, Kwankwaso said, “OK, I accept that it will work out, yet we likewise accept that there are a few difficulties that we are having, particularly from the side of the Labor Party itself, since there are such countless impacts – some their ally, negative and, surprisingly, the positive side.
