The Coalition of Northern Groups, CNG, has excused a comment by Chukwuemeka Ezeife, previous Governor of Anambra State, that the southeast is ready to stoop and prostrate to ask different areas to help their official desire in 2023.
CNG said Igbo pioneers ought to prostrate to Nnamdi Kanu, head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, instead of misdirecting different locales.
Representative of the gathering, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, said the North would not be hoodwinked by Ezeife’s comment.
In an assertion he marked, Suleiman said the southeast are not “earnest and ought not be trusted” due to past forerunners.
As per Suleiman: “Igbos have, by their direct, denied themselves the chance to be entrusted with power sooner rather than later.
“It is dishonest for them to make such suggestions in the wake of having empowered and upheld Nnamdi Kanu, the head of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and the monstrosities submitted against different Nigerians, especially northerners by his IPOB.
“On the off chance that the Igbo should prostrate to anybody, they ought to prostrate to Kanu as the North has grown up and will not be deluded or tricked any more extended.”
