2023 Presidency: Amaechi, El-Rufai Campaign Posters Emerge.

The 2023 presidential campaign posters of Rotimi Amaechi, Nigeria’s current Minister of Transport have flooded Abuja, the nation’s capital city.

According to the images seen by our correspondent, Naija News reports that the posters also have the photo of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai as Amaechi’s running mate.

The caption on the posters has the heading: “It’s time to do more’ and the body reads: “The People’s choice,” “Today may not be the best, but tomorrow will be better”.

According to the images seen by our correspondent, Naija News reports that the posters also have the photo of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai as Amaechi’s running mate.

The posters, which were seen in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and some other major streets in Abuja, had a group identified as the National Consolidation Movement claiming responsibility for the posters but no political party was indicated.

As at the time this report was published, neither Amaechi nor El-Rufai has reacted to the posters.

The tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari ends in 2023 and as he is not eligible for another term in office as stated in the constitution of Nigeria, citizens will have to elect a new leader to take over from him once his tenure expires in 2023.
