Individuals’ Leftist faction, PDP, in Lagos State, on Thursday, communicated positive thinking that it would overcome the All Moderates Congress, APC, in the 2023 general decisions, adding that assuming control over the state from the servitude of sole-proprietor is prepared.
Heads of the party expressed this during a walk, labeled UMBRELLA DAY in anticipation of 2023 decisions held from Fadeyi bustop to Maryland region of the state.
The party chiefs said they are prepared to convey Lagos State to it’s official applicant, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The walk which occurred on the stretch of Ikorodu Street, crossing five nearby government regions had the PDP individuals and pioneers, including its governorship up-and-comer, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran famously known as Jandor, his running mate, Funke Akindele, a BoT individual from the party, Mrs. Aduke Marina, Dr Airhead Ogunkelu, previous state director, Capt Tunji Shelle (retd), Philip Aivoje, Mr. Deji Doherty and Tolagbe Animashaun holding umbrella as image of their party.
A previous representative of the party, Mr. Taofik Gani, said: “The time has come to make the furious loss TInubu in Lagos. As it turns out, himself is challenging the administration, so it makes us hypothetically pleased with winning him as an immediate member.”
The walk was driven by Mr. Adedeji Doherty, Director of Atiku/Okowa Official Mission Board, PCC, and other party tribal leaders in the state.
Tending to the group at Maryland, Doherty said, the umbrella walk was an image of solidarity and was intended to show to the electorate that the party is completely prepared and joined to give desire to Nigerians whenever chose.
He said: “The umbrella is an image of solidarity to unite everyone and each ethnic gathering in fortitude for Atiku/Okowa. It is to show the solidarity that we have in Lagos State and in Nigeria.
“It is likewise to tell the decision party today that PDP will join this country quickly we enter government in 2023.
“Our head, Atiku Abubakar has vowed to shape an administration of public solidarity whenever he is chosen. Mr Peter Obi (of Work Party), Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso (of New Nigerian People groups Party), Sen. Bola Tinubu (of APC) and others should work with him.
“He will unite everyone. Everyone will be essential for his administration. When there is solidarity among us, then the rest is simple.
“Nigerians have attempted PDP and attempted APC and they can see the distinction, let them allow PDP another opportunity, we will address our errors,” he said.
Likewise speaking, Representative Chief, PCC Decisions The board, Capt.Tunji Shelle,, who communicated certainty that Abubakar would win the 2023 official political race, depicted him as intellectually steady, clever, lucid and caring.
Lagos State Chief, Atiku/Okowa PCC, Mr. Tolagbe Animashaun, said: “Nigeria is headed straight toward flourishing under our party.
“We will go round the neighborhood legislatures, and move to the grassroots to advance our applicants. All that will fall set up when this one is finished.”
In his comments, the Lagos state Exposure Secretary of PDP, Mr. Hakeem Amode, said: “The PDP is coming to make Nigeria and Lagos State better. It won’t be the same old thing with all that we illustrated for individuals.”
