Femi Fani-Kayode, a spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign council, has criticized Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, a federal lawmaker, for claiming that Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling party, is unfit to rule Nigeria.
During a Sunday press conference, Shekarau, a former Kano State Governor, asserted that Tinubu is seriously ill and unfit to serve as Nigeria’s next president.
He inquired, “Are we wrong when we said @officialABAT is seriously ill or is unstable in his activities?” How can you back him as your most important citizen?
Fani-Kayode posted a series of tweets on Monday in response to the claim that Tinubu is not physically prepared for the position of president. Shekarau was portrayed as irresponsible and dishonest, and Fani-Kayode claimed that thunder would fire the former governor.
He wrote, “Words from an irresponsible and deceptive man in an irresponsible and deceptive party.”
“Ibrahim, beheaded by thunder. Not Asiwaju, but @atiku is seriously ill and unstable. He is ill in body, mind, and spirit.
We do not want a sick, conflicted, and “non-binary” president who lives entirely in Dubai. We need a genuine man like @officialABAT”.
