2023: It’s nonsense to say I’m merging with any candidate – Kwankwaso

Senator Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has denied that the party is planning a merger with other political parties ahead of the election next year. He claims that some failed politicians are behind the rumor.

Shortly after addressing members of the NNPP at the party secretariat in the capital, he spoke with news reporters in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

“That’s total nonsense,” Kwankwaso declared. You see we accept that we are not over the three or four gatherings in this nation, yet by 2023, one year from now, by the finesse of God NNPP will win the political decision at public and any remaining levels.

Therefore, these are unsuccessful politicians who have nothing better to say to Nigerians than to spread unwarranted rumors of a merger.

The merger is no more. Our candidates are in. Everyone in every party is running a campaign. Therefore, disregard that absurdity.

He responded, “Don’t ask me that rubbish,” when asked if he would resign for any candidate.

If elected, the NNPP presidential candidate promised to add one million new recruits to Nigeria’s armed forces.

He went on to say that his government would provide citizens with education at all levels and would prioritize youth and women’s empowerment.

Olaposi Oginni, the State Chairman, stated that “only lunatics would vote for APC” in the upcoming election.

He stated that no Nigerian is anticipated to vote for the ruling party in 2023 due to the severity of the suffering and poor economy under the APC government.
