The Labour party’s legal team and representatives from the Independent National Electoral Commission are currently meeting to begin inspecting the election materials used in the most recent Presidential election on February 25, 2023.
Dr. Livy Uzoukwu, who oversees 60 lawyers, is expected to brief journalists following the meeting.
Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of SOURCE INEC, gave the Legal Department of the Labour Party today assurances that the Commission will provide all requested documents for the purpose of prosecuting its case.
He stated, ” Nothing is off-limits for INEC. The HQ-available documents will be provided immediately. Today, we will meet with Resident Electoral Commissioners to talk about how other state-level documents can be quickly made available to you.
The Legal Department of the Labour Party met at the INEC headquarters to talk about how to get the documents.
