Princess Rukaiya Atiku Abubakar, the wife of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate and former vice president, has stated that her husband is the only candidate who has strong support for women.
She claims that if elected, the former vice president would have set aside $10 billion for women’s and youth empowerment.
On Tuesday, Rukaiya and other members of her organization PRACO traveled to Bauchi State to garner the support of women from the Northeast for her husband, Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku Abubakar, my husband, is the only candidate for president in the upcoming 2023 election who strongly supports women’s and youth’s inclusion in government.
She stated, “He had promised to set aside $10 billion for youth and women empowerment in light of this.”
One of Atiku’s wives, Rukaiya, is running for president in 2023 for the PDP. She has been heavily involved in his campaign.
She said that if Atiku became president, he would work to find solutions to the many problems that hinder women’s advancement.
