2023: Why I can’t abandon Wike – Ortom

In front of the 2023 general decisions, Lead representative Samuel Ortom of Benue State has said he can’t forsake his Streams State partner, Nyesom Wike on the grounds that he has ended up being a trusted and reliable partner.

Ortom expressed this at a feast to pay tribute to lead representatives Wike, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Seyi Makinde and Okezie Ikpeazu on Sunday in Makurdi.

As per him, when criminals thought to be Fulani herders went after him, Wike was the principal individual to censure it.

“At the point when Benue was under attack, he gave N250million and he in this way spent over N700million to help the State to handle the philanthropic emergency occasioned by the outlandish assaults,” Ortom said.

“He didn’t stop at that. He persuaded Lead representative Emmanuel Udom of Akwa Ibom to likewise help the State and he gave N200million to us.

“Is it true that he is not a commendable companion? He’s a commendable companion and we’re cooperating to free the country,” he added.

Ortom said that he wouldn’t uphold the Official up-and-comer of the People groups Leftist alliance (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, focusing on that any of Atiku’s allies is his foe.

“I won’t uphold any Fulani man to keep on doing treachery to my kin except if my kin advise me to do in any case,” Ortom said.

Answering for the meeting lead representatives, Wike said thanks to Ortom for the honor he had given to them.

Wike said, “Individuals need to break us yet they can’t, we are reinforced; along these lines, we can’t be isolated.”

Wike further educated the authority concerning the PDP at the middle to continuously regard arrangements for harmony to rule.
