Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), claims that Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike was correct when he said that Atiku Abubakar, the flagbearer for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), lacked integrity.
Tinubu claimed that Atiku has nothing to offer given that he was a member of the PDP administration that pillaged Nigeria’s wealth.
During the APC campaign rally in Kano, Tinubu said that Atiku had lied to Nigerians.
The flagbearer of the APC pleaded with the people of the state not to be fooled into allowing the PDP to return to power under any pretense.
Tinubu stated that: Atiku and his party cannot fulfill their promise. Tell me how they intend to fulfill their obligation to the nation. It’s no wonder that their party is in ruins! “Look at the man and his history,” Governor Wike said, was correct about a lack of integrity.
We can improve Nigeria’s quality, safety, and prosperity. We can end fear, feed our people, and educate our youth. These things are doable for us. You can move forward with us.
The others, however, cannot. They want to prevent you from moving forward so that only they can. They only provide untrue assurances and straightforward responses. They can only teach you how to hate Nigerians and reject your neighbors.
After losing the PDP ticket to Atiku during the party’s presidential primaries in 2022, Wike has been against Atiku.
After Atiku refused to persuade PDP National Chairman Iyorchia Ayu to resign, the governor said that Atiku lacked integrity.
He and his group, G-5, said that Atiku wouldn’t follow the PDP’s rotational policy.
Wike asserted that the PDP’s national chairman and presidential candidate should not be produced in a particular region.
