BREAKING: FG declares Friday, Monday public holidays

The Federal Government has announced Friday second and Monday fifth April, Public Holidays to check the current year’s Easter Celebration.

Priest of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola made the statement on Tuesday.

He asked Christians to copy the credits of abstinence, absolution, generosity, lowliness, love, harmony and tolerance, which were exhibited by Jesus Christ.

He approached them to utilize the event of the current year’s Easter Celebration to appeal to God for the Peace, Unity, and Progress of our country.

Aregbesola in a proclamation endorsed by the Director of Press in the Ministry, Mohammed Manga, guaranteed that the public authority would investigate every possibility in managing the spate of abducting, equipped banditry and different violations and culpability being executed by foes of Nigeria.

“Security is everyone’s business, I subsequently energize all Nigerians and outsiders inhabitant in Nigeria, to show undeniable degree of enthusiasm at this crucial time throughout the entire existence of our nation, to help the endeavors of all security organizations in guaranteeing harmony and security of lives and property of the populace,” he said.

While wishing Christians both at home and abroad a glad and tranquil Easter Celebration, Aregbesola approached Nigerians to hold hands with the President Muhammadu Buhari-drove Administration in its assurance to make life more significant for all.
