BREAKING: Imo shutdown in compliance with IPOB sit-at-home order

Owerri and other parts of Imo State are shutdown in compliance with the sit-at-home declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

IPOB had announced that the lockdown will continue every Monday until its leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is freed from government custody.

As of 8am in the morning, roads were deserted as business owners lock up their shops.
