BREAKING: IPOB declares sit-at-home on September 9 to protest Buhari’s visit to Imo

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has declared Sit-At-Home on September 9, 2021, to protest President Muhammadu Buhari’s proposed visit to Imo State.

Chika Edoziem, IPOB head of Directorate Of State, who disclosed this in a broadcast on Monday, the sit-at-home is to show the world that the President is not welcomed in the southeast.

It is also to protest the unlawful detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader who was seized in Kenya and illegally repatriated to Nigeria by Buhari’s administration, said Edoziem.

The separatist group also noted that the lockdown will commence on the Thursday and any day they postpone President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to Imo State.
