The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, have defeated the Federal Government of Nigeria, at Abia State High Court in Umuahia.
This occurred as the Court reject Nigerian government’s challenge to its jurisdiction to hear Kanu’s fundamental rights suit, said his lawyer— Barrister Aloy Ejimakor.
The declared the 2017 house invasion and attack on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as Illegal and awarded One Billion Naira (1b) damages against the Federal Government of Nigeria for grossly violating Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s human rights.
The judge ordered the government to officially apologize and ensure the release of the IPOB leader.
