BREAKING: IPOB’s website for #FreeNnamdiKanu goes live worldwide

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, have launched an official website to secure the release of their detained leader Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu, still in detention, was seized in Kenya and illegally repatriated to Nigeria, and faces charges of treason and other baseless crimes for calling for a referendum on an independent state known as Biafra.

Kingsley Kanunta Kanu, younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, who announced the website’s launch on Friday, said it “is live” but gave no further details.

Netizens who commented on a posted made about the website, www.freennamdikanu.org, confirmed that it was live worldwide.

Last week, IPOB announced that it had hired a senior attorney to lead the defence team against the federal government of Nigeria.
