BREAKING: Many killed, others missing as Nigerian soldiers raid Imo communities

Soldiers of Nigerian Military and Ebubeagu Security outfit on Monday, the 13th December Invaded Villages in Orsu-ihiteukwa and Awo-Idemili in Orsu LGA, Imo State, killing dozens of villagers.

The operatives embarked in heavy shooting in the communities, going from village to village abducting young men, killing some on the process.

Recall that Orsu24news had reported that the joint operatives of Nigerian military and Ebubeagu on Monday morning at about 6am Invaded the communities, Shooting, going from house to house.

According to indigen of the community who ananymously spoke to Orsu24news on Tuesday morning, said that the latest invasion by the joint operatives led to series of casualties, death and abduction of young men.

“About twenty Hilux Van of Soldiers stormed our community on Monday morning, going from village to village in search of young men, tagging them ESN members.

“They abducted many young men in different Villages, killing some at the same time.

“The operation lasted from early morning to late in the evening.

“As I’m talking to you, there are dozens of dead bodies of young men in our Villages including elderly ones, he said.

This is not the first time these Communities are experiencing military invasion, Orsu-ihiteukwa and Neighboring Communities including Orsumoghu and LiLu have experienced over twelve military invasion for the past one year, resulting to lost of innocent lives, burning of businesses and destruction of properties.

We therefore call on the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as the Chief Security Officer of the State, to immediately call the Soldiers to order to stop the ongoing killings of innocent villagers in the communities.
