BREAKING: ‘Take Your Family To Nearest Prison’, Nnamdi Kanu Replies Justice Nyako

SAHARANEWS – The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has told Justice Binta Nyako to take her family to the nearest prison to avoid being kidnapped.

Kanu, whose case against the federal government is being presided over by Nyako had on Thursday appealed to the Judge to guaranty his safety for him to return to Nigeria and continue with his trial but was denied by the court.

Justice Nyako had in her ruling on Kanu’s application said the only way she could guarantee Kanu’s safety was to keep him in the prison.

“Even judges are being abducted in the country. So prison is the only safest place for him,” she said.

But reacting to Justice Nyako’s ruling on Friday, Kanu said if the judge’s view that Nigeria is not safe for anyone to live and prison is the safest, she should take her family to the nearest prison.

The self-proclaimed leader of IPOB reacted through his Twitter handle.

He wrote: “According to Justice Binta Nyako, ‘Nigeria is NOT safe for anyone, including judges.’ If in her view prison is the safest place to live for Nigerians, I suggest her family move into the nearest one to avoid being abducted. Nigeria is lawless, confirmed!”
