Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, issued an order on Tuesday calling for the immediate dissolution of all non-statutory boards in the state.
Olawale Rasheed, the spokesperson for Adeleke, stated in a statement that Mr. Teslim Igbalaye, the Secretary to the State Government, gave the directive to the Heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.
“With the exception of UNIOSUN, all non-statutory Boards, Commissions, and Parastatals, including those of Tertiary Institutions, are hereby dissolved in the state immediately as a follow-up to the announcement made by Gov. Ademola Adeleke on November 27, 2022.
Rasheed stated, “Therefore, all Accounting Officers of such Boards, Parastatals, and Commissions are to take charge immediately.”
