A strong critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Friday Makama, has joined the partyThe two-term member of the Kogi State House of Assembly who represented Igalamela Odolu state constituency declared his defection into the APC shortly after meeting with the leadership of the party at the APC national secretariat, Abuja.
He said he deliberately did the declaration in Abuja in honour of the national leadership of the party that broker truce between him and the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello.
“The discussion for my decamping that took place today started two to three weeks ago and ever since then I was consulting with my people and today history is made as I decided to change my political party to the All Progressive Congress.
