EPL: I’m the manager Here, don’t distract me – Ten Hag warns Ronaldo

Manchester Joined director, Erik ten Witch, has made it clear he has power to take choices that influence the group.

The Dutchman has dropped Cristiano Ronaldo from his crew to confront Chelsea this end of the week, after the 37-year-old would not come on against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.

Ronaldo then left his seat and vanished down the passage, leaving Old Trafford before full time.

Ten Witch utilized his Friday public interview to send an advance notice to the remainder of the crew.

He said: “I’m the chief, I’m answerable for the way of life here and I need to set norms and values and I need to control them. In the group, we have values and guidelines and I need to control that.

“Football is a group activity and you need to satisfy specific principles. Furthermore, I need to control it.

“I believe that [not being distracted] is part when you play in top football. There is commotion, bits of gossip, you must concentration.”
