Four dead as Task Force, tanker drivers, touts clash at Mile 2

This morning, a clash at Mile 2 resulted in the deaths of four unidentified individuals. The conflict involved the Lagos Task Force, tanker drivers, and touts. Sahara received a distress call from a stranded passerby, Mr. Richard Igbe who explained that there was a fight on top of the Mile 2-Oshodi bridge and as a result, they had barricaded the bridge blocking the access road.

The exact cause of the altercation has not been determined yet. However, at the time of the report, an individual named Igbe stated that four people had been fatally shot.

According to Igbe, “Mile 2 is in chaos, with clashes between the task force, tanker drivers, and touts. I am not sure about the cause of the fight, but I am currently taking cover at Fagbems Filling station at Mile 2 and observing. I was on my way to work, but I am now stranded because they have blocked the entire Mile 2, preventing anyone from passing through.”
