How suspected cultists in Abia murdered IPOB member on his way home from work

A man identified as Munachimso Nwankwo was killed on his way home from work on Tuesday by suspected cultists in Abia State.

The man, said to be a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB, died after being shot multiple times at Cemetery rail in Aba.

While some persons claim that he was killed for resisted an attempt rob him, others claim that he was killed by the alleged government-sponsored cultists for being a member of the IPOB.

Residents in the area where the incident occurred said the attackers were cultists, but they could not confirm the identity of any of them.

Abia state authorities have not comment on the incident that has caused panic in the area.
