I’m a titled chief in Enugu — Adesina tells Igbos

Femi Adesina, President Muhammadu Buhari’s special media and publicity adviser, has disclosed that he is a chief in Enugu State, southeast Nigeria.

Adesina, who revealed this in a brief statement posted to his Facebook page on Friday, said he was crowned at an Ofala festival in the state.

“I hold the traditional title of Nwanne di Namba (Brother from Another Mother) of Mmaku Kingdom, in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State,” said Adesina.

“The title was bestowed on me in January 2018 by Igwe Maduabuchi Cyprian Nevobasi, during his Ofala festival,” he said, adding that the monarch and some members of his cabinet paid him a visit on October 15, 2021.
