Kidnapped Priest Concedes N100m Was Paid For His Freedom

The seized Prelate of the Methodist Church, His Greatness Samuel Uche, on Tuesday said N100m was paid as payment before he was delivered.

At a public interview in Lagos, the pastor said the monies were organized in five sacks of N20 million.

The assets, he noted, were raised by the Methodist Church in Nigeria.

He likewise asserted that neither the Administrative or State Government, nor the military or police mediated.

The pastor was hijacked on Sunday in Abia State yet was delivered on Monday.

The Prelate had been seized close by two others, the Diocesan of Methodist Church, Owerri See and the Prelate’s pastor.

They were purportedly whisked away at around 2pm on their way from a congregation program in Okigwe Imo State to Isuochi in Umu Nneochi Nearby Government Area of Abia State.

Seizing for deliver is overflowing in pieces of Nigeria, including the South-East where most fierce wrongdoings have been accused on Ipob, a gathering looking for withdrawal of the district from Nigeria.

In the interim, the Central Government has taken an extreme position against recover installments. A regulation condemning payoff installments was as of late endorsed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
