New naira crisis: Violence spreads to Agege, other areas of Lagos

The common agitation from the get-go Friday morning has now spread to Agege, Ikorodu and different pieces of Lagos State.

Commotion broke out in certain pieces of the state in the early hours, on Friday, as a few bothered people thought to be criminals raged significant streets in dissent of the naira shortage in the state.

The dissenters raged Mile-12, Ketu, Ojota region, along Ikorodu Street, and Iyana-Ipaja around 6.am.

Vanguard can affirm that the dissent has now spread to Agege, Ikorodu, Iyana Iba and different pieces of the state.

Drivers and occupants who were en route to better places of work swiftly turned around in alarm as the agitators went crazy with huge fire set across the street
