Obiano Signs Anti-Open Grazing Bill Into Law, Orders Immediate Enforcement

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano, has joined his partners in the southern locale of the nation to sign the counter open brushing bill into law.

He consented to the Cattle and Other Livestock Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Bill of Anambra State on Friday at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia, Awka.

Lead representative Obiano clarified that the choice of the state government to prohibit the open nibbling of dairy cattle and other animals was to upgrade harmony between the ranchers and the herders in Anambra.

As per him, the administration of the emergency among ranchers and herders has been a transient measure and it has become essential for the public authority to make an unequivocal move.

The lead representative expressed that the law requirement offices have been coordinated to promptly start the execution of the law.
