“People believe in our cause and give whatever they can from their limited resources, which is why everything that is going on everywhere.
“I’m energized, and I guarantee them that they are doing it for the right goal and I won’t ever dishearten them,” he said.
Obi stated that borrowing was fine regarding Nigeria’s debt profile.
“Every nation borrows, and every business in the world borrows.”
What we do with the borrowed money is what matters. We have a problem when people borrow money for personal use.
He advised prudent investment of borrowed funds to boost the nation’s gross domestic product and per capita income.
He went on to say, “I won’t say I won’t borrow, but I will only borrow for investment, and I will explain to Nigerians why borrowing is necessary.”
If elected, Obi pledged to eliminate all waste and rascality, promising to reduce the nation’s debt.

We will assist those who generate power and make every effort to distribute it.
He stated, “I can tell you that we will move from where we are to 20,000 megawatts within years, because we need it for production.”
