(VIDEO) Nnamdi Kanu Speaks On The Mother’s Burial, Pull Surprises On Nigeria Government

SAHARANEWS – The Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in an interview with Voice Of America(VOA) Washington reacted to the speculation trending that some monarchs pleading with the government of Nigeria to allow him come back home and bury his mother peacefully.

SaharaNews had earlier reported that Ugoeze Sally Nmemme Kanu, the mother of Nnamdi Kanu, passed away in Germany on 30 August, 2019 after a brief illness.

According to Kanu, he said the death was as a result of trauma of what she experienced in his home.

Nnamdi Kanu lambasted those alleged monarchs that went begging FG to allow him come home for his mother’s funeral.

“I didn’t send or begged anyone to lobby the federal government of Nigeria on my behalf and will never do that. And even if such request is granted, I will not honour it because the cabals in Rock are not to dictate things for me.

Speaking further in Voice Of America(VOA) interview, Kanu said that what he know is that his mother must be laid to rest when the time comes.

“What I can assure you is that my mother must be buried. When she was alive she told me to do everything within my power to restore Biafra.

He also noted that he may be present or may not be seen around during his mother’s funeral but she must be buried without the permission of Nigeria government.

“I may attend her burial or may not but certainly the burial most be done,” he said.
