‘We’ve Been Pushed To The Wall’ – ASUU Open Up.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Tuesday blamed the Federal Government for defaulting on its guarantee to execute the Memorandum of Action (MOA) endorsed by the two gatherings last December.

The Lagos Zonal Coordinator of ASUU, Dr Adelaja Odukoya who was joined by other association pioneers from different colleges in the zone at a question and answer session in Lagos, unveiled that scholastics in the country’s state funded colleges can leave protesting any second from now.

The association chiefs regretted that the public authority is attempting to injure the association by retaining confirm duty of individuals for longer than a year. They held that these levy ran into a huge number of naira and that the demonstration was executed by the public authority through the dubious Integrated Personnel Payroll and Information System (IPPIS).

As indicated by Odukoya, “We canceled our strike last December and marked a MOA and out of the nine things on the rundown for execution, just two have been finished. The first is the setting up of Visitation. Boards to colleges.
