Youths must take over, we’re tired of cabals in Nigerian govt – Bakare

Alhaji Ahmed Bakare, a public commentator, has urged Nigerians to vote wisely in the general elections in 2023.

He advised voters to exercise extreme caution and stated that the time had come to eliminate the prevailing political factions in Nigeria.

However, he attributed the failure of the Federal Government to address the nation-wide initial security issues.

In an interview with DAILY POST in Gusau, the state capital, Bakare stated that there is no reason for the federal government’s inability to put an end to banditry and insurgency.

“We unitedly voted Buhari into power in 2015 to end the banditry and insurgency that were ravaging the country. However, the situation has worsened. Buhari is a former military man.

He stated, “I want to tell you the truth now that Nigerians are not happy with President Muhammadu Buhari and his All Progressives Congress (APC) because they have failed the entire country.” He added, “I want to tell you the truth now.”

The public commentator went on to say that it would be immoral for the common people to survive Buhari’s presidency without divine intervention.

“Nigerians have suffered a lot at the hands of the unfortunate government of the ruling APC in the country, so I am sure that they will revolt against the APC through the ballot box in 2023.

“I am admonishing Nigerians to vote wisely because Nigeria as a rich country has reduced her popularity before the entire world,” he added. “Every Nigerian has the constitutional right to vote for anyone of his or her choice,” he said.

When Bakare was asked who he wanted to be Nigeria’s next president, he said it was a secret he didn’t want to tell because he wouldn’t support any cabals that were trying to get power.
