Anambra Arrests Mother and Rescues a Baby Left in a Pit Toilet

A 20-year-old woman, Nwaedoka Chidimma, from the Izzi people group in Ebonyi State, has purportedly tossed her infant into a pit latrine in the Otuocha people group, the Anambra East Neighborhood Government Area of Anambra State, where she works.

PUNCH Metro accumulated that the occurrence occurred on Sunday while the child was saved late on Tuesday after certain occupants heard him crying from the pit latrine.

An occupant, who gave her name as Esther, said the guilty party, who was pregnant at that point, got a homestead work locally and keeping in mind that on the ranch, went to utilize the latrine after which she returned dribbling with blood.

Esther, a farmer, said that the suspect had asked her to stay at her house for a few days so that she could do the farming job she had found in the area.
