As Fayose and others shun Atiku, the PDP accuses members and the APC of making the Ekiti rally difficult.

The People’s Democratic Party, or PDP, has accused some of its members in Ekiti State of working with the All Progressives Congress, or APC, to prevent the APC from holding its presidential rally there.

In a tweet on his official handle, Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP Presidential Campaign Management Committee’s spokesperson and director of public affairs, claimed that the APC and some PDP members who are opposed to the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, prevented all commercial vehicles from operating in the state during the rally.

He wrote, “In an effort to frustrate our rally, people defied all challenges and walked kilometers to the Ekiti pavilion as APC and some PDP members “collabo” to stop all commercial vehicles from operating in Ekiti today.” “Magic atiku.”

The state capital was closed to commercial vehicles and motorcycles on Tuesday, according to the Daily Post, stranding interstate and state commuters.

Ayodele Fayose, a former governor of Ekiti State, Lanre Omolase, an acting PDP State Chairman, Bisi Kolawole, seven of the nine PDP National Assembly candidates, and 20 of the 26 House of Assembly candidates were among the party’s stakeholders who were absent from the presidential rally.
