Atiku: It’s an insult for another Northerner to succeed Buhari – Wike

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has criticized the choice of a Northerner to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in light of his disagreement with Atiku Abubakar, the leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

According to Wike, the fact that another Northerner succeeded President Muhammadu Buhari as the country’s leader was an insult.

He said those unsettling for accounts are offending the reasonableness of Nigerians, adding that they don’t advance public solidarity.

According to a statement that was issued by his aide to the media, Kelvin Ebiri, Wike gave a speech on Sunday at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

Wike claims that: You capitalize on people’s intellect; I concur that Nigeria is not suitable for a Muslim-Muslim ticket. But if Nigeria remains in one region, it is time for the presidency? Simply take a look at the slur. You can blow hot or cold.

The governor claimed that by producing Buhari’s successor in 2023, the North would deceive other regions.

“The majority of you sit there; You do not inquire about yourself. These low-cost ideas are still being sold by someone. You don’t ask the person, but look at what we’re saying here. I agree with what you’re saying.
