Biafra: Buhari govt, DSS want to eliminate Nnamdi Kanu, he has heart problem – IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, has asserted that the Nigerian government and the Department of State Services, or DSS, were attempting to assassinate Nnamdi Kanu, the group’s leader.

Emma Powerful, IPOB’s spokesperson, lamented that Kanu needs to see a specialist because of a heart condition and mineral deficiencies.

Powerful emphasized that the DSS’s refusal to provide Kanu with food and medication is a “systematic” method of assassinating their leader.

Remember that Aloy Ejimakor, Kanu’s Special Counsel, had raised concerns about the agitator’s well-being in DSS detention.

According to Ejimakor, the DSS didn’t feed Kanu or give him his medications for nine days.

Powerful therefore urged the Nigerian government to free Kanu so that he could receive the necessary medical care.

According to Powerful’s statement, Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU, who is unlawfully held in solitary confinement by the DSS, has been deliberately targeted for elimination by the Nigerian government.

“The Nigerian government has refused to release Kanu as ordered by Nigerian courts, nor have they permitted him access to his personal physicians. Kanu is battling heart problems and some mineral deficiencies that require the attention of medical specialists.

“Instead, they have turned to roadside pharmacies for his medication, which we perceive as a methodical, gradual loss of life and the final method of elimination.

“We, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) global family, therefore, urge the Nigerian government to release KANU immediately if they are unable to pay for his food and medication.”
