SAHARANEWS — Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has accused security agents manning checkpoints of aiding influx of terrorists to South-East.
In a statement on his Facebook account on Monday, Ejiofor warned residents in South-East to beware of imminent danger, adding that the region is under siege.
“It is now clear to all and sundry that the entire South East is under siege. The ban on interstate movement has presented an opportunity for the local vigilantes to trap the massive influx, and deployment of mercenaries (Fulani fighters) that has been going on unabated, albeit clandestinely in the past.
“The accomplishment of this evil agenda is made possible by active connivance of Security Agents manning various check-points on our roads, who are majorly of fulani extraction.
“We are indeed sitting on a keg of gun powder. Our people should be aware of this imminent danger!,” he said.
