The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has required the renunciation of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, for individuals of the South to feel a feeling of having a place in the party.
Makinde settled on this decision at the South-West PDP partners meeting with the official competitor of the party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
The Oyo State Governor, along with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has been handling the PDP over the National Chairman of the party and the official applicant who are from the North.
Be that as it may, in his invite address, he portrayed Atiku as “the approaching President of Nigeria in 2023.”
Makinde’s portrayal of Atiku evoked an uproarious commendation from the PDP partners at the setting of the gathering.
He said, “truly we have no issue either with our party or our up-and-comer. Assuming that there are difficulties they should be postponed.
“We should give desire to our kin, we maintain that they should pay attention to us.
Our party needs to save Nigeria and our competitor is a unifier. He needs to rebuild Nigeria
“Eight years of the All Progressives Congress have left us strongly separated. The issue is we should try to do we say others should do. If we have any desire to bind together Nigeria, we should bind together the PDP first.
“If we have any desire to rebuild Nigeria, we should have the ability to carry inclusivity to the PDP. Do we have the limit? The response is resonating yes.
“The message from the South-West PDP is the South-West is requesting that the National Working Committee from the PDP ought to be rebuilt.
“We are requesting that the National Chairman step down so the South will be completely included. That is the message.”
