“This is never the Orlu of our dreams. It is about time our people who are still alive to their responsibilities began to ask questions. A few weeks ago, it was Omekagu Darlington, a promising lawyer, who was shot dead at close range by unidentified persons. Today, in addition to burning houses in Obor community, five people were abducted. Should we all die in silence?”

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Michael Abattam, did not pick up our correspondent’s calls to his line.
