At the it 2023 opening meeting, the Igweocha family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) hosted Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, the coordinator of IPOB Biafraland, and other national executives.
The Biafraland coordinator was able to cover some milestones in charging the entire IPOB family of Igweocha in respect to the Biafra restoration mandate and the unwavering efforts for the unconditional release of the IPOB Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Okwu Kanu, during the meeting that was held successfully on Saturday, February 11, 2023. The meeting took on a very special dimension.
As the meeting began with an opening prayer and the taking of the IPOB oath of office, all members of the IPOB family in Igweocha gathered promptly at the venue.
Following that, the acting state coordinator of IPOB Igweocha, Mazi Christian Chujor, warmly and lovingly greeted the national executives on behalf of the IPOB Igweocha family.
Mazi Chukz Egwuatu, the national secretary of IPOB Biafraland, was given the microphone to speak first to the people after the executives were greeted. Egwuatu advised the people of Igweocha to remain focused and consistently formidable on the Biafra restoration course, speaking extensively to the audience that was attentive.
After that, Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha took the stage and elaborated extensively on the inviolability of the IPOB’s administrative Chain-Of-Command (COC); claiming that IPOB has no other supreme leader than Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and that the Directorate of State (DOS) continues to be the organization’s highest leadership. Because Radio Biafra is the only place where we worship, Mazi Ugwuoha warned that the public should never listen to or pay any attention to broadcasts that have not been verified. We ask all unit coordinators, zonal coordinators, senatorial coordinators, and local government coordinators to go back to the drawing board to root and build up their members and teach them to listen to the right Biafra news channel.” He stated
“It is clear that the DOS, the IPOB’s administrative body, is doing everything in its power to ensure Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s release from the Nigerian government. Any group that claims to have done something to free an IPOB leader from detention ought to share their actions with the world. Members of the DOS are the ones who truly work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure that they secure Nnamdi Kanu’s release through all legitimate means. In addition, the IPOB legal team is putting in a lot of effort to ensure that Kanu regains his freedom. Why are some individuals claiming to be fighting for Biafra while attempting to destroy what Nnamdi Kanu has built? But Igweocha must rise again, and this is impossible.” The huge crowd yelled “YES!” as Mazi Ugwuoha roared.
In conclusion, the acting coordinator of Igweocha, Mazi Christian Chujor, expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the meeting. As the new year began, he emphasized the significance of love and unity. The Igweocha IPOB family received encouragement from Mazi Chujor to get ready for the fully realized Igweocha’s rise back.
Keep in mind that the Biafran town of Obigbo, where thousands of Biafrans were slaughtered, was taken by the Nigerian military on governor Nyesom Wike’s orders. The IPOB’s efforts to promote Biafra freedom in the region have been hindered by this one incident as well as other appalling attacks against the Biafran people there. IPOB, on the other hand, is unstoppable.
Therefore, Mazi Chujor reminded the IPOB Igweocha family that they were the most formidable family in all of Biafraland prior to the well-planned genocide of Igweocha Biafra believers by the Nigerian government. As a result, he advised all of the coordinators to concentrate more now and be aware of any potential attempts by the enemies to re-enter the family.
Mazi Chujor continued by advising that any coordinator who was unable to attend that meeting should wait for the state authority’s approval before holding any meetings in the region they are coordinating. He noted that things would no longer be the same in the face of Igweocha’s rise. This Biafra restoration course requires new commitments on the part of everyone. You are admitted if you are with us. You are out for those who aren’t. If you choose, the door is wide open to anyone.”, He finished.
Therefore, despite the difficult economic conditions, the state coordinator expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the meeting. A final prayer of thanksgiving to Chukwu-Okike marked the end of the meeting around 5:00 p.m.
