BREAKING: IPOB Drags South African Police To Court For Shooting Members During Protest

SAHARANEWS – The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has dragged South African police to court over attack on its members, on Thursday.



The South African police had said minimum force was used to stop IPOB members from attacking Nigeria’s President Muhammadu buhari.

The legal Team of IPOB in South Africa, on Friday filled A 4-count charges on South African Police.



IPOB released a list of 6 persons who sustained gun shots yesterday when South African police opened fire on peaceful IPOB Protesters. The group said that it obtained clearance for the protest before embarking on it.

The charges on South African police are:

1) Disruption of Legal and peaceful Protest,
2) Unlawful Shooting,
3) Attempted Murder,
4) malicious injuries and damages by South African Police.
