Many civilians are feared to be killed in Amangwu Ohafia, Abia State, as Nigerian soldiers launch attacks on civilians and burn houses.
Residents who fled the communities said the attack began at 5 a.m. on Tuesday, but disclosed no reason for the military attack on civilians.
“Our people are now taking refuge in the bushes,” a resident Uchenna Nwankwo, told SAHARA NEWS.
Another resident who confirmed the incident said there was still an ongoing military attack in the area.
