BREAKING: Olowu Of Owu Kingdom, Oba Dosunmu, Is Dead

The Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Adegboyega Dosunmu Amororo II is dead.

Oba Dosunmu was one of the makers of the famous TV series, ‘Town Headmaster’ during the 80s.

It was discovered that he kicked the bucket in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital later a short sickness.

A previous Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is from Owu and is the Balogun of Owu realm.

A source near the royal residence on Tuesday affirmed to SaharaReporters that the ruler has passed on.

“Baba (Oba Dosunmu) is dead, he kicked the bucket yesterday. The disposition in the castle is bleak,” the source said.

He left the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation in 1975 to set up a private film creation outfit, Starline Films Limited. He composed and coordinated a film named ‘Supper with the Devil’.

The late Dosunmu once uncovered in a meeting that he wouldn’t be essential for any custom before his royal celebration as ruler, portraying it as hostile to moderate.
