BREAKING:774,000 jobs kick off Tuesday —Keyamo

After a few delays, the Special Public Works Program which would connect with 774,000 jobless Nigerians will commence cross country on Tuesday.

The Minister of State for Labor and Employment, Festus Keyamo, while declaring this on his Twitter handle on Sunday night, clarified that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has endorsed the beginning of the activity.

He tweeted, “President Muhammadu Buhari has affirmed the remove from the Special Public Works Program (connecting with 774,000 jobless vagrant Nigerians) to start cross country on Tuesday, January fifth, 2021. All NDE state structures are as of now in top stuff for the take-off services.”

The program, intended to utilize 1,000 Nigerians from every one of the 774 neighborhood government zones in the nation was at first booked for dispatch on October 1, a year ago yet it ran into hitches following the strategic maneuver among Keyamo and the Director-General, National Directorate of Employment,Nasir Ladan, who was sacked a month ago.
