Frank Lampard resigned from his position as Senior Men’s First Team Manager today, as confirmed by Everton Football Club on Monday night.
This was made known in a message that was posted on the club website just a few minutes ago.
The English Premier League also stated in the statement that Chris Jones, Ashley Cole, Joe Edwards, and Paul Clement have all left the Club as well.
“All of us at Everton would like to express our gratitude to Frank and his coaching staff for their assistance during this difficult year.
Throughout their time at the Club, Frank and his team have demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment; however, given the club’s current league position and recent results, this difficult decision had to be made. We wish Frank and his entire backroom staff well for their game’s future.
The Club has begun the search for a new manager, and in due course, it will provide updates regarding the appointment.
The statement continued, “Paul Tait and Leighton Baines will participate in training until a new manager is appointed.”
