The Ohanaeze Youths Council (OYC) has accused South-East Governors of being complicit in the numerous massacres and invasions of Igbo communities by terrorists and bandits disguised as Fulani herdsmen.
The gathering expressed this in an explanation in response to the intrusion of three Eha-Amufu people group and killing of local people.
Censuring the proceeded with unmerited assaults and killing of local people in the articulation endorsed by the Public Leader of OYC, Igboayaka, Ohanaeze mourned the grave quiet of the National Government, South-East lead representatives and Bureaucratic Agents from the district.
OYC warned that the youth of Igboland could “pick up similar AK-47 or its equivalent weapons for unavoidable self-defence as an available self-defense” in response to the brutal killings of people.
The statement begins with:As Ohanaeze Youth Council, we cannot silence anyone.By sacrificing the blood of Ndigbo both in and out of season, the South-East governors have demonstrated that they are puppets of the Fulani political oligarchy, who they serve as masters.
“It is documented that these egotistical governors are the real conspirators sabotaging the actual steps to stop the Jihadist’s planned ethnic cleansing of Ndigbo.The odious ethnic cleansing of the Ndigbo in the Agu-Amede, Mgbuji, and Eboh Communities in the Ehu-Amufu Isi-Uzo Local Government began on November 22, 2022, during an attempt to contact the Governor, the State Security Services, and the State Police command.
“We can no longer wait for a soothsayer to tell us that both Igbo-origin governors and Nigeria Security agents have broken their oath to protect Ndigbo lives and property.
“The Ohualu Mgbede has been ousted by Fulani Militias and Bandits, and up until this point, neither President Mohammadu Buhari nor any of the representatives of the Federal Government have visited the affected villages at Ehu-Amufu, at least not in the sense of cheering up their Militias for a good job.”
“The silence of the federal government of Nigeria and the state government is a silent way of telling every youth in Igbo land to pick up a similar AK-47 or its equivalent weapons for unavoidable self-defence as an available self-defence,” the statement continued.
“The Ehu-Amufu people in Enugu State experienced over 100 deaths, 50 missing people, and these dreaded herders pillaged two villages.
“It is documented that some governors turned the so-called mouthed “Ebube Agu” of Southeast Governors into their militia gangs to fight political opponents.”Ebube Agu” has caused a significant number of innocent youth deaths in Imo State and Ebonyi State.They tag innocent Igbo youths as ESN and extort money from them.
“Until this day, we would like to inform the general public that “Ebube Agu” has not conducted any successful operations against any criminal gangs, Fulani militias, or bandits. However, they have severally documented hundreds of innocent Igbo youths being maimed with uncovered allegations of labeling the Innocent Igbo youths as members of ESN or IPOB.
Proceeding, that’s what the delivery expresses; “Nigeria, which has gone from being referred to as a “Zoo” to a “Jungle Territory” where total disorderliness and brutality reign, is the only place in either local or international law that views self-determination groups as criminals or terrorist organizations.Although there is some order and arrangement of the animals in the zoo according to their species, Nigeria is not a zoo; rather, it is a jungle country.
