BREAKING:Serious panics in part of Lagos Community after cultists kill NURTW chief

Occupants and dealers at Mile 12, in the Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, have been living in dread after cultists supposedly killed a Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Sulaimon Onaolapo, otherwise known as Ariku, nearby.

In a video which moved web-based on Sunday night, no less than four thought cultists were seen utilizing cutlasses to hack Onaolapo till he kicked the bucket.

The episode, nonetheless, caused pressure as occupant locally, while addressing our journalists on Monday, communicated dread over a response by Onaolapo’s followers.

While certain occupants said Onaolapo was killed over faction related exercises, different individuals from the local area said the NURTW manager was killed over control of transportation parks nearby.

An occupant nearby, Mary Olayemi, said she and her relatives were simply leaving the congregation on Sunday when they heard discharges.

She said, “When we heard the discharges, we ran into a compound and when everything was clear, we saw that Onaolapo (Ariku) had been killed with cleavers.

“We heard that they had been searching for himself and around 12pm yesterday, that they followed him and got him. The battles among NURTW individuals have been occurring for quite a while. We are anxious about the possibility that that they could proceed with this brutality one week from now.”

A dealer, who gave her just as Adejare for the sake of security, said, “many retailers didn’t really get started and the people who did are cautious since anything can occur. My relatives should not realize that I am on the lookout however I need to sell.”

Another occupant, who distinguished herself just as Alhaja Akingbade for the sake of security, mourned that her better half’s vehicle was set burning in a retaliation.

“My better half ventured out from home around past 12pm. It was not long after he left that we heard individuals yelling. We needed to lock ourselves inside. It was the point at which we came out that we found that my better half’s vehicle had been scorched.
