Equipped Fulani herders on Wednesday night killed six people and left a few others with gunfire and blade wounds in Logo Local Government Area (LGA) of Benue State.
The occurrence happened at Tse Ngojov and Tse Valem Yaweh of Mbagum people group in Tombo committee ward of Logo LGA of the state at around 9 pm.
Paul Hembah, Special Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom on Security who affirmed the occurrence to Daily Independent on Thursday noticed that the Council Chairman, Salome Tor had prior informed him on the episode.
He made sense of that however miserable as the occurrence seemed to be, Governor Ortom has coordinated that the injured be moved to the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), while plans ought to be made, preliminary to the internments of the dead.
Everyday Independent sources in Logo LGA said those that lost their lives to the assault were Ander John, Vihior Mtomga, Morgan Varem, Saaior Uyoosu, Aondoyima Tarbo and Peter Asondo.
